Police use Taser before fatally shooting Barataria man

POLICE first used a Taser before shooting and killing a Barataria man who allegedly charged at them with two cutlasses on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred around 6.40 p.m. at Sealy Street, El Socorro.

The man was identified as 28-year-old Andre Adams.
