Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says Trinidad and Tobago cannot be “judge and jury” over the United States’ air strikes on drug boats, including the controversial double strike that killed survivors.
She was responding to questions yesterday outside the Red House before joining the Parliament sitting.
“The United States is a sovereign nation and they are free to exercise their sovereignty in manners that they seem or deem fit. I cannot be judge and jury here to determine whether they are right or they are wrong, those are not within our jurisdiction,” she said.
