THE US military conducted a 47th lethal boat strike in the Caribbean/Pacific region two days ago—the latest action claiming the lives of at least four in the Caribbean Sea, according to US officials.
The strike, carried out on Wednesday, killed four men. It brings the official death toll of the US’ boat strike campaign in the region to 152—though counting those lost at sea, the figure is estimated to have risen to 163.
For 2026 thus far, the US has conducted 12 strikes, four of which were in the Caribbean Sea.
