MINISTER of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Sean Sobers has said international partnerships and intelligence sharing are being strengthened to help Trinidad and Tobago combat crime.
Sobers was responding to a question on the Government's approach to treating with crime in light of yesterday's triple murder in Belmont, where a two-year-old child was one of the victims.
Speaking at the post-Cabinet news conference at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann's, he said discussions with regional and international partners under the Shield of the Americas initiative were continuing to bolster the country's crime-fighting capacity.
