The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) says it is taking immediate and sustained action to address reports of discoloured water affecting customers in some areas.
In a media release on Thursday, the Authority said technical, engineering, water quality and field teams were monitoring the situation, identifying contributing factors and implementing measures to resolve the issue.
WASA assured customers that the water remained safe for domestic use, adding that daily water quality testing continued at major facilities in keeping with World Health Organisation standards and applicable water quality requirements.
