The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) advises customers that flushing is under way in selected areas to clear temporary water discolouration following the recent scheduled maintenance shutdown at the Desalination Company of Trinidad and Tobago (Desalcott).
In a statement yesterday, WASA said customers can expect clearer, cleaner water soon.
The statement comes after some people have been complaining vehemently about the water being darker than mauby.
