Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers cap­tain, Nicholas Pooran, has been charged with a Lev­el 1 of­fence un­der the Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL) Code of Con­duct.

The CPL con­firmed the charge, which was for show­ing dis­sent at an um­pire’s de­ci­sion dur­ing the Elim­i­na­tor match against the An­tigua & Bar­bu­da Fal­cons.

Pooran ac­cept­ed the sanc­tion and was fined 20 per­cent of his match fee. The CPL stat­ed that the mat­ter is now closed fol­low­ing the ac­cep­tance of the penal­ty.
