Principals have been instructed to maintain the current list of textbooks for the upcoming academic year, as the Ministry of Education confirmed there will be no changes to the approved list for 2025/2026.
In a statement, the Ministry advised both primary and secondary school heads to continue using the same textbooks that were approved and in use during the previous academic year.
Dr Michael Dowlath, Minister of Education, said, “This measure ensures consistency in teaching and learning resources across all schools, while the Ministry conducts a review of the textbook approval process to guarantee alignment with curriculum standards, quality benchmarks, and inclusivity principles.”
