The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced changes to vehicle inspection protocols, effective January 5, 2026. Approved Vehicle Testing Stations, including the Vehicle Management Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (VMCOTT), will now be permitted to conduct inspections for Public Service Vehicles (PSVs) with a Tare Weight not exceeding 2,270 kilogrammes.
