The Spe­cial Vic­tims De­part­ment of the TTPS is in­ves­ti­gat­ing a re­port of rape at a sec­ondary school in cen­tral Trinidad on Valen­tine’s Day, which has now led to the 13-year-old vic­tim be­com­ing preg­nant.

The mat­ter was re­port­ed to the po­lice on Tues­day by the girl’s 43-year-old fa­ther when he was in­formed of the girl’s con­di­tion.

Po­lice said the Form One stu­dent was re­port­ed­ly pulled in­to a class­room by a Form Three stu­dent known to her on Feb­ru­ary 14 and forced to have sex with the 15-year-old per­pe­tra­tor.
