14-year-old rape victim refuses medical exam

A 14-year-old girl has reported being attacked and raped in her own home by a 16-year-old.
However, police say she has refused to be medically examined.
The girl was brought to the police station in central Trinidad on Sunday morning, by her grandmother with whom she lives.
