Police were called to a secondary school in east Trinidad on Wednesday afternoon to investigate a sexual offence case.

At around 2p.m, a teacher received information that two students were having sexual intercourse in the toilet at the school. On her arrival at the toilet of the school she observed the victim age 14 and another student age 13 having sexual intercourse.

The teacher reported that upon interviewing the victim she learnt that the girl has been having a sexual relationship with her cousin since October, 2025 The girl lives with her mother. She was medically examined by a doctor and the case is being investigated by police and school authorities.
