Police are investigating a burglary that took place in the early hours of Thursday at a residence in El Socorro.
The victim, a 34-year-old Jamaican national and caretaker, reported that she and her 18-month-old daughter were asleep at their home when the suspects entered the apartment around 3:30 a.m.
According to her, three men, all tall and slim, dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered, forced entry into the home. One of the men was armed with an ice pick. They announced a robbery and demanded money.
