PORTLAND, Jamaica —Six more Haitian men were picked up by the Portland police on Monday, moving the total to 28 Haitians who arrived in the country illegally early Monday morning.
The police had picked up 17, which consisted of 10 males, four women and three children early in the morning in the Passley Gardens area.
They were taken to the Port Antonio Police Station for immigration and health processing.
