Law firm Quantum Legal has called on the Government to adopt a more transparent and accountable approach to national security governance, saying public confidence depended on lawful oversight, privacy safeguards and clear reporting procedures.
In a statement last week, Quantum Legal, which is headed by attorney Criston J Williams, said its statement was an independent legal-policy position on public-law accountability, responsible security governance and institutional confidence.
It said the release did not make findings of criminal liability or personal misconduct.
