(Kaieteur News) – The government will use part of a US$90 million Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) loan to provide design and supervision services for the rehabilitation of several primary schools in Region Nine.
This is according to a request for expressions of interest published on the government’s procurement website. The primary schools were not named in the tender notice.
According to the notice, the government has received financing from the IDB, towards Support for Educational Recovery and Transformation (5809/OC-GY) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
