The Privy Council has declined to fast-track the appeal involving businessman Dominic Hadeed and his wife, Genevieve.
Reportedly, the Privy Councilās Registrar informed attorneys on Thursday that the Councilās President and Deputy President reviewed the case documents and determined that the matter should not be expedited.
In its communication, the court stated that it did not wish to hear the appeal āin a rush in the last few days of termā and noted that the immediate issue of the coupleās continued detention could be addressed through an application to lift the stay.
