The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service has confirmed that escaped inmate Jamal Joseph was recaptured around 2.30 p.m. on Monday near the ALCOA plant in Carenage, Chaguaramas, bringing an end to a three-day manhunt.
Joseph was recognised by off-duty Prisons Officers attached to the Carrera Convict Prison, who detained him. Service. He was handed over to police custody shortly afterward.
