LAHORE – To stand any chance of qualifying for the 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup, West Indies Women must register a huge win over minnows Thailand in their final World Cup Qualifier in Pakistan on Saturday morning.
After a disappointing start to the tournament where they lost their opening match to Scotland before being soundly whipped by Pakistan, the regional side will need a string of results to go their way if they are to claim one of the two qualifying spots on offer for the Women’s World Cup, which will bowl off in September in India.
Ireland Women did them a favour by knocking Scotland out of contention by defeating them by one wicket in a thrilling contest on Friday.
