Investigations are ongoing into a dog attack along Lady Chancellor Road, Port of Spain, as police raise concerns about public safety and irresponsible pet ownership in popular recreational areas.
Police confirmed yesterday that a woman was attacked and bitten on her calf by a dog on the morning of March 26 while exercising along the roadway, which borders the northern end of the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The incident has since intensified complaints from members of the public about unleashed and unmuzzled dogs in shared spaces.
