(Kaieteur News) – Guyanese model and pageant enthusiast, Miriam Alexander will represent Guyana at Miss Independence International schedule taking place in July 2027 in the USA and at the Miss Culture Queen Pageant slated to take place in St Kitts and Nevis in August.

According to a release from Franchise Holder of the pageants, Meleesa Payne, Alexander was selected to represent the country due her experience in runway modelling and pageantry.

The release posted on the Miss Independence International Guyana page, noted Alexander’s adventure as a model and pageant enthusiast began in 2020. She has participated in numerous fashion shows, including ‘Origins, Bold, and Fashion in Paradise.’ Her experience in runway modelling has instilled in her a sense of discipline and the importance of self-love.
