As The Imperial House celebrates its 10th anniversary of youth and community development in Guyana, the organisation has announced that the Miss Guyana Teen Scholar Pageant will not be staged in 2026 as it undergoes a period of strategic restructuring and renewal.
Launched in 2019 as a scholarship-driven empowerment programme for adolescent girls, the pageant was created to provide educational opportunities, leadership development, and community engagement for young women across Guyana.
Over the past seven productions, the programme has evolved into one of Guyana’s recognised youth development platforms, producing young women who have served as ambassadors for education, volunteerism, leadership, and social advocacy. The 2026 production would have crowned the organisation’s eighth titleholder.
