United National Congress candidate for San Fernando West Dr Michael Dowlath said he is awaiting the results of the day's election.

Dowlath spoke to the media around 8.30 a.m. after he voted at the polling station at Parvati Girl's Hindu College in Debe.

"I lived in San Fernando for years and when I retired, I moved to a home in Debe. So I vote here now. I voted in San Fernando for two decades," said the former principal of Naparima College.
