United National Congress candidate for Oropouche East Dr Roodal Moonilal said there were teething problems at two polling stations, which caused delays in the voting process on Monday.
Moonilal said the issues arose at the beginning of the voting day polling stations on Ramai Trace in Debe and Mohess Road in Debe about which the party has written to the returning officer.
The voting process, which was supposed to begin at 6 a.m., was delayed for about 20 minutes, said Moonilal.
