Bob and Rita Marley foundations host prostate cancer awareness and screening initiative

Nearly 60 men answered the call to put their health first as the Bob and Rita Marley foundations hosted a prostate cancer awareness and screening initiative at Tuff Gong International Studios on Wednesday.

Held in recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the initiative brought men together for an important conversation about their health, while providing access to prostate cancer screening facilitated by Windsor Wellness Centre.

Medical Director of Windsor Wellness Centre, Dr Alfred Dawes and Consultant Urologist Dr Kamal Mars engaged participants in an informative discussion on prostate cancer, the importance of early detection, and the need for men to take a more proactive approach to their overall health and wellbeing.
