KINGSTON, Jamaica — Windsor Wellness and Biovanta Labs have launched Jamaica’s first at-home prostate cancer screening kit.
The Kingston-based launch, timed to Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, targets earlier detection among Jamaican men.
The device collects a small blood sample without a needle draw or a laboratory visit, testing for elevated levels of prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a key marker used in prostate cancer screening. Results can be obtained at home, at health fairs or in a doctor’s office.
