Four vehicles were stolen in separate incidents within the North Eastern Division between Sunday and Monday night, police said.
In the most recent incident, police said a 49-year-old man was getting out of his white Kia Sonnet in front of his Petit Bourg home at around 10.30 pm when he was approached by two bandits, one of whom was armed.
The bandits took the keys and entered the vehicle, while the owner threw a heavy piece of metal at the car, breaking the back windscreen and raising an alarm.
