Four ve­hi­cles were stolen in sep­a­rate in­ci­dents with­in the North East­ern Di­vi­sion be­tween Sun­day and Mon­day night, po­lice said.

In the most re­cent in­ci­dent, po­lice said a 49-year-old man was get­ting out of his white Kia Son­net in front of his Pe­tit Bourg home at around 10.30 pm when he was ap­proached by two ban­dits, one of whom was armed.

The ban­dits took the keys and en­tered the ve­hi­cle, while the own­er threw a heavy piece of met­al at the car, break­ing the back wind­screen and rais­ing an alarm.
