The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) successfully hosted its highly anticipated 80th Anniversary 7-a-side Football Tournament and World Cup Quarter Finals Watch party on Saturday 11th July 2026 at the Ato Boldon Stadium, bringing together management, employees, familiesand friends for a day of sports, camaraderie, and team spirit.

The tournament featured competitive football matches among teams representing T&TEC’s Inter-Area Sports Clubs from North, South, Central, East and Tobago, as well as teams from the Commission’s Distribution Areas, El Socorro and Penal Training Facilities, a Management Team, and the T&TEC Police.

The event was attended by Line Minister, Bary Shiva Padarath, members of T&TEC’s Board of Commissioners, including Chairman Anil Kamal, Vice Chairman Raymond Cozier, Commissioner Anil Bhagowtee, Commissioner Taramatie Mongroo, Commissioner Ravita Babwah, Commissioner GerardSmall, and Commissioner Dr. Curtis Boodoo.
