THOUGH surprised at his non-selection by the United National Congress (UNC) for the April 28 general election, former Couva South MP Rudy Indarsingh has vowed to “continue serving the people” and the party.
In an interview with the Express at his Caroni home yesterday, Indarsingh insisted he remained in good spirits and said electoral politics was such that “one day disappointment may come and you are told that your existence is no longer required”.
But he maintained that he remained committed to the party and that the DNA of the UNC ran in his veins.
