EIGHTY-TWO year-old former minister and former FIFA vice president Jack Warner is now “Dr Jack Warner” after receiving his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).

Warner was among the graduands yesterday at the morning session of the UTT graduation ceremony held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain, and received a standing ovation for his accomplishment.

Asked how he felt about graduating, he replied that he was “elated”.
