Se­nior Coun­sel Is­rael Ra­jah-Khan is among this year’s re­cip­i­ents of hon­orary doc­tor­al de­grees from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Trinidad and To­ba­go (UTT).

Khan will be con­ferred with an Hon­orary Doc­tor of Laws at the uni­ver­si­ty’s 2025 Pre­sen­ta­tion of Grad­u­ates Cer­e­mo­ny, which takes place on No­vem­ber 18 at the Lord Kitch­en­er Au­di­to­ri­um, Na­tion­al Acad­e­my for the Per­form­ing Arts (NA­PA), Port-of-Spain.

UTT an­nounced that three dis­tin­guished in­di­vid­u­als will re­ceive hon­orary de­grees this year in recog­ni­tion of their out­stand­ing con­tri­bu­tions to ed­u­ca­tion, fash­ion, cul­tur­al ad­vance­ment, and law. The oth­er ho­n­ourees are fash­ion de­sign­er Pe­ter Elias, who will re­ceive an Hon­orary Doc­tor of Fine Arts, and Jamwant Ma­haraj, who will be award­ed an Hon­orary Doc­tor of Sci­ence.
