FORMER FIFA vice president Jack Warner, 82, has worn many hats, from teacher to football administrator to politician, and he can now add doctor to that list of accomplishments.
Warner was conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entrepreneurship and Commercial Studies on November 18 at the University of Trinidad and Tobago's 2025 Graduation at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain.
His doctoral thesis, titled Corporate Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Business Model Innovation for Adoption in the Local Print Media, examined the structural and operational challenges facing the local print industry amid sustained revenue decline, shifting reader behaviour and competition from digital media.
