A 71-year-old man who left his vehicle at a car wash in Gasparillo returned to find it missing.
Police said around 11 am on Monday, the pensioner left his white Nissan Caravan panel van, valued at $70,000, at a car wash on Railway Road, Reform Village, near Feed Depot, to be cleaned. He handed the keys to the owner and left.
When he returned three hours later, the van was gone. The owner reportedly told police she had left the keys on the stairs and did not know who took the vehicle
