THE National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago (NTTT) is warning members of the public against the inappropriate treatment of heritage assets.
The warning followed social media posts by local digital creator SystemRichie (real name Richie Bansraj) showing him standing and climbing on historical items. In one of his posts, he is seen bare-chested, climbing and standing on the remnants of a water trough at the Queen’s Park Savannah. Turning to the camera he asks: “What is this? What is this random thing in the Queen’s Park Savannah allyuh?”
Pointing to what seems like an opening for running water to fill the two-sided trough, he continues “It have one here...it have a next one right here.”
