Police have arrested two suspects after a man was forcibly taken from a house in Dow Village, California, on Saturday night.

Around 8 p.m. labourer Jeremiah Sooknanan, 24, was asleep when two men, both known to him, kicked open the front door.

Police said on suspect, armed with a long metal pipe, and the other entered the house, went into an adjacent bedroom and grabbed landscaper Luke Rampersad, who was sleeping at the time.
