The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has extended its Adverse Weather Alert – Yellow Level until 4p.m. Friday as the nation faces continued bouts of rainfall and the growing threat of flash flooding, riverine overflow, and landslides.
This is the sixth update to the alert issued earlier this week, reflecting persistent instability in weather conditions over both islands and surrounding waters.
TTMS warns that occasional showers and periods of rain will continue throughout today and into Friday. There is a 70 percent chance of periodic heavy downpours and isolated thunderstorms across the country.
