The first homicide to occur in Tobago during the ongoing State of Emergency (SOE) took place overnight along Highlands Road, Moriah. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Trevon Walker of Lady Smith Trace, Moriah.

Police said Walker was killed in a drive-by shooting. Officers of the Tobago Division responded to reports of gunfire and found Walker’s body at the scene. Investigations are ongoing.

This marks the fourth murder in Tobago for 2025 and the first since the SOE was declared earlier this month.
