King Charles III has congratulated Trinidad and Tobago on its 64th Independence anniversary, describing the relationship between the two countries as an “enduring partnership” rooted in shared values and mutual respect.
In a message to President Christine Kangaloo, the King said he remained proud of the Commonwealth’s role in fostering “understanding, cooperation and opportunity” around the world.
Charles also referenced the estimated 25,000 Trinbagonians living in the United Kingdom, saying they enriched the relationship between the two nations.
