KING Charles III is set to visit Guyana in October as part of a royal tour of the Caribbean and surrounding region, with the visit marking 60 years of bilateral relations between Guyana and the United Kingdom.

The Guyanese Government announced on Wednesday that the King had accepted an invitation from President Irfaan Ali, alongside a request from the UK Government, to make a state visit to Guyana in the latter part of October.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles and Queen Camilla will undertake an Autumn Tour from October 27 to November 4, including visits to The Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda. The King will travel to Guyana for a state visit, while the King and Queen will later travel to Antigua and Barbuda for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026.
