Senator Wade Mark, President of the Senate, was yesterday sworn in as acting President of Trinidad and Tobago.
The brief ceremony took place at the Office of the President, Circular Road, St Ann’s, and was administered by Chief Justice Ivor Archie.
Mark assumes the duties of Head of State during the absence of President Christine Kangaloo, who departed the country yesterday on official leave.
