Senator Wade Mark, President of the Senate, was today sworn in as Acting President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
The brief took place at the Office of the President on Circular Road, St. Ann’s, and was administered by Chief Justice Ivor Archie.
Mark assumes the duties of Head of State during the absence of President Christine Kangaloo, who departed the jurisdiction today on official leave.
