Top officials from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries met with leaders of Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) on Thursday to discuss operational updates, future collaboration, and community development initiatives.
The meeting was led by Dr Roodal Moonilal, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, and Ernesto Kesar, Minister in the Ministry. They were joined by senior ministry officials, including Permanent Secretaries Penelope Bradshaw-Niles and Karinsa Tulsie.
Representing CGCL were CEO Keio Kato, Chairman Omote Masaaki, and other top executives. The company reported a current production and export volume of approximately four million metric tons of methanol. CGCL plays a critical role in the methanol sector.
