The po­ten­tial for fu­ture col­lab­o­ra­tion in this coun­try’s down­stream gas in­dus­try was part of dis­cus­sions re­cent­ly be­tween high lev­el of­fi­cials from the Min­istry of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries and Methanex Trinidad Lim­it­ed.

A re­lease from the Min­istry re­ports that Min­is­ter Ernesto Ke­sar, Min­is­ter in the Min­istry of En­er­gy, along with Karin­sa Tulsie, Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary (Ag.), and Marc Rud­der, Deputy Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary (Ag.) met re­cent­ly with Dean Richard­son, Se­nior Vice Pres­i­dent, Methanex Cor­po­ra­tion and Col­in Bain, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor and Pres­i­dent of Methanex Trinidad Lim­it­ed.

The meet­ing was held on May 29, 2025, at the Min­istry’s of­fices at the In­ter­na­tion­al Wa­ter­front Com­plex in Port-of-Spain.
