Detectives from the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have advanced a long-running investigation with the charging of a man in connection with a 2016 murder in Greenwich Farm, Kingston 13.
The accused is 39-year-old Andrew Anderson, otherwise called ‘Prince’, of Seventh Street, Greenwich Farm. He has been charged with the murder of 62-year-old Junior Russell, also of Seventh Street.
Police reports indicate that around 5:15 p.m. on July 28, 2016, Russell and Anderson were involved in a dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the altercation, Anderson allegedly used a knife to stab Russell before fleeing the scene.
