MIAMI, United States (CMC) â The Miami-based United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said that two alleged male ânarco-terroristsâ were killed in a âlethal kinetic strikeâ on a vessel operated by âdesignated terrorist organisationsâ in the Caribbean Sea.
SOUTHCOM did not identify the âdesignated terrorist organisationsâ but said the strike was given at the direction of its Commander General Francis L Donovan.
SOUTHCOM said Joint Task Force Southern Spearâs intelligence âconfirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was engaged in narco-trafficking operationsâ.
