A 13-year-old girl who was removed from her mother’s care following a police investigation has been found after she went missing for 25 days.
The good news, however, soon turned ugly when a livestream showing her face and a search-team leader reprimanding her sparked public outrage and a call by the TTPS for its removal.
The child’s aunt, who claims the teenager has been placed in her care, has also criticised how the situation was handled, and said she learnt through social media that her niece had been located.
