Labour Minister Leroy Baptiste has confirmed that investigations into the fire that destroyed Mitsuda Superstore in Enterprise are ongoing, but it is too early to determine the cause.

In a telephone interview with the Express yesterday, Baptiste said the Occupational Safety and Health Agency and the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service are actively probing the incident.

He shared a status update from the OSH Agency’s executive director, stating, “In relation to this matter, OSHA safety inspectors are currently engaged on site and actively making enquiries as part of its investigative processes.”
