A RAGING fire gutted Anand Low Price Supermarket branch in Gulf View early yesterday morning, causing millions of dollars in damage, and leaving dozens of employees without jobs.

Bentley’s, a hotel located in the lower section of the building, was spared by the fire, sustaining only minimal water damage during firefighting efforts.

The fire consumed much of the two-storey property shortly before 4 a.m., though officers were able to contain the blaze to the upper floor, Senior Fire Officer Ansar Ali said.
