A lecturer at a tertiary level institution narrowly escaped injury during a terrifying home invasion in San Francique in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The 28-year-old woman told police that she was asleep in her bedroom around 2 a.m. when four men forced their way into her home. The suspects, all described as men of Spanish descent wearing dark clothing, ski masks, and gloves, were armed with a firearm and cutlasses.
According to the victim, one of the men pointed a firearm at her and demanded valuables while another brandished a cutlass. The intruders reportedly made off with cash and jewelry. One of the suspects allegedly shouted “Police outside” as they fled through a bushy area toward Tulsa Trace.
