Fourteen minor surgeries were performed at the Scarborough General Hospital as the Caribbean College of Surgeons gathered in Tobago for the 24th Annual Scientific Conference.
The conference got off to a busy start, with surgeons participating in clinical activities before gathering for the opening ceremony at the Mt Irvine Beach Bar on Thursday evening.
President of the College, Dr Charles Greenidge, praised the surgeons for what he described as remarkable work.
